This place is definitely worth the hype. Went on a Saturday night, and at first I was worried because of how crowded it was and how loud it was. My worries were unfounded - the service was speedy and accurate, the entrees had a very reasonable portion size, and all the food was delicious. While it was a little difficult to hear conversation at my immediate table, the high energy and kindness of the wait staff was enough to make this a very pleasurable dining experience.
This is a great go-to in the city!! We have been a few times and have never been disappointed! We loved sitting out on their patio! I learned that you can do a 1/2 potion of their salads which was great for me because we had dinner plans for later!! Smoothest Old Fashioned. In the past we have tried many other dishes including the Guacamole and other appetizers! Service is always excellent. Casual, not stuffy but the food is always high quality!
I love LuxBar! It’s one of my favorite places in the city for good food and drinks! I will say some items on the menu are better than others... so it is important what you get! Highly recommend: Saved by the Bell (may be my favorite cocktail in the city... I hope it becomes permanent!). Apple BBQ Fried Chicken (INCREDIBLE albeit messy!). Mac and cheese. Avoid: “baby” back Ribs (while they look great... there is no meat on them! NONE! And what meat there is sticks to the bone. Also these are regular ribs not small tender baby back ones). Sliders (too basic for the price).
Luxbar absolutely nailed it! I stopped in for a casual bite and ended up having one of the best slider experiences ever. The mini burgers were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—with soft buns and just the right amount of toppings. Simple, classic, and done so well. The vibe at Luxbar is relaxed but polished, and the service was friendly and fast. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a longer meal, this place hits the mark.
The food was really good & we had such a good experience. The chili was spicy but I love spicy. Everything was fresh. Kathleen was our server and she was amazing we would come here again.
Came here for brunch but they still serve their dinner menu all day, we sat upstairs which has a great view over the area. They have an awesome cocktail selection and state they can make any drink you want not on the menu. Great espresso Martinis and dirty ones with blue cheese olives. Def get the tomato bisque and French onion to start, we also got the Cobb and they split it for us. For dessert you have to get the cookie skillet, it was unreal. Service was super attentive even though the place was packed.
Wonderful time I had here. Good options for every time of the day. Great food to open up the appetite accompanied by some amazing cocktails. Dishes are delicious and dessert adds that closing extra to your dinning.
Amazing vibe in the V Triangle. My girl friend and i went last min after an event to grab a drink and food on a Fri. The customer service, food, and vibes are always on point. The entire staff was very accommodating (this is actually an underrated gem in customer service b/c at most places only your designated waiter/waitress cares about you but everyone checked in with us to make sure we were good). Shoutouts to our waitress Sofi, she was so amazing. The drinks did what needed to be done and I only had one - OK! We ordered the espresso martinis with reposado tequila - thank me later. Long story short I'm going back today to order the shrimp po'boy b/c it was hard to choose between that and the crab cake, pizza, and other sandwiches.
